Google sign-in, if you use it: the name and email Google shares with us.
WhatsApp: the number and messages you send when you contact us or join the MSC updates group.
Website logs and security: IP address, browser type, and standard server logs needed to run and protect the site.
Analytics: we use Google Analytics to see which catalogue pages are used. It records page views, not prices or payment details.
On your device: a theme preference, recently viewed products, and a session cookie if you sign in.
03Why we use it
To reply to quotes, check stock, and support orders. This site does not take online payment or show a public cart.
To run your customer account, quote basket, and enquiry history when you have signed in.
To keep the website secure and understand which catalogue pages people use.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use it for unrelated advertising networks.

Staff at MSC who handle quotes and service. We do not publish your enquiry on the public catalogue.
05How long we keep it
Enquiries and quotes stay in our system while we may need them for the conversation, tax, or warranty follow-up, then we delete or anonymise them.
Account profiles stay until you ask us to close the account, or we close unused accounts.
Server and analytics logs are kept only as long as needed for security and reporting.
06Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete personal data we hold, or withdraw consent for marketing messages, by emailing us. We may keep records the law requires.
You can browse the catalogue without an account. Enquiry needs a phone number or email so we can reply.
You can block analytics cookies in your browser. The site will still work.
07Children
This catalogue is for business and adult buyers. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
